Do art and activism mix? Bezalel/Yaffo 23 will be hosting a panel of artist/activists on Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 18:00. Two international art groups who merge contemporary art with political activism will be presented: Group Etcetera (Argentina & Chile) and Femen (UKR).
The conference, part of the Middle East Europe exhibition, will be moderated by political artist, curator and filmmaker Tamara Moyzes (CZ). Complete details are available in English on the Bezalel/Yaffo 23 blog.

“It’s Alive! #2” – the second in a new series of live art events will take place at the Center for Contemporary Art (CCA) on Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 19:30. The key to Fuerza Bruta, Diqui James and Gaby Kerpel’s new show, is getting involved. This is not a performance where the audience sits back and stares. Taking place in a giant tent at the Tel Aviv Exhibition Grounds, it’s a standing show, with most of the action taking place either just above eye level (short people are at a disadvantage), or way up high.
