There will be a one-time, special screening of Marion Neumann’s This Moment is Not the Same (Germany/Switzerland 2010) at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque on February 19, 2011 at 19:00, sponsored by the Goethe Institute Tel Aviv, with Neumann in attendance.

The 98 minute art film in six languages (Arabic, English, French, German, Hebrew and Japanese – with English subtitles) is a multi-facted, multi-voiced collage that focuses on the alternative art project that took place in the “jourparjour” community in Switzerland over the course of three years. 300 artists in different disciplines from all over the world, exploring the human potential, creating space for art through the adventures and frictions of daily life in the “Laboratoire Village Nomade” – the film reflects this unusual experience and spirit.

The evening will open with a performance by pianist/composer/improvisor MISA SHIMOMURA, who is arriving in Israel for this screening. Following the film, director Marion Neumann and actress Raida Adon (one of the participants in the project) will hold a discussion in English.
