Jerusalem Jazz Sessions 09

Avant-garde Session
Yonatan Kretzmer Sextet
New Jazz ‘09
Wednesday ׀ October 28

Kretzmer’s saxophone playing is full of power, openness, and richness. His prolific activity in the last years, including performances, recordings, and production of an avant-garde jazz series, offer the listener a simultaneous challenge and an opportunity to be exposed to music that is truly in the avant-garde, both in its innovativeness and its complexity. Here, for the first time, Kretzmer brings together a large ensemble, which promises a true musical adventure.
