This bluesy song by Dror Cohen, with its touch of surreal nostalgia, has the scent of Tel Aviv in the fall, and the two musicians – each with his own legend and legacy – Arik Einstein (1939 – 2013) and Shmulik Kraus (1935 – 2013). Poetic and dream-like, the song evokes the spirit of these two very different men:

“And Einstein says go slow

but Kraus has to move”

Cohen wanders in the “White City” so changed with time, and sings in a warm deep voice, letting us feel the end of an era.

Einstein Kraus Blues is the first single from Dror Cohen’s soon to be released EP.
