Take to the streets and ride the ethnic wave with Boom-Pam, Kutiman, NO MOON and Umlala as the Jerusalem street parties continue on Friday, June 11 at noon on Shushan Street. Dance in the street to the sound of Boom-Pam’s Mediterranean rock surf trio of electric guitar, tuba and drums.

The eclectic group, whose past collaborations include the Batsheva Dance Company, Balkan Beat Box and the Israeli Philharmonic, will get together for a one-time jam with Kutiman, for a Balkan-Greek-Arab-Jewish mix of music and madness. The party line up includes: DJ Pusspower, DJ Mishel Hysteric, DJ Yariv Bernstine, NO MOON – a young pop rock band with visual flair, and Umlala – Josef Laimon, Orel Tamuz, Yuval Goren, Omri Blau, Zohara Niddam, and the Jerusalem based Indie rock band that represented Israel in the 2009 Global Battle of the Bands.

To complete the picture – “Urban Jungle” – an art exhibit featuring 6 young artists, transforms the once neglected area of Shushan Street – check it out!
