Music &amp; vinyl lovers world wide will be partying all day and here in Tel Aviv <strong>Kol HaCampus<\/strong> and <strong>The Third Ear<\/strong> will host a huge party with live performances, movie screenings and more, including the launch of a new music series from Kol HaCampus: <strong><em>HaRaKe<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong><em>HaRaKe<\/em><\/strong> series (ok, here comes a long and clumsy explanation of Hebrew slang \u2013 first: it\u2019s an acronym for Hayot Radio \u2013 Kol HaCampus, which means radio animals \u2013 voice of the campus, second: the Hebrew word <em>harake<\/em> is the black imprint left by tires on the road, this being Israel, there is also another slang meaning, but I don\u2019t intend to go down that road. ..ask your Israeli friends) was created to introduce intriguing and unusual musical groups to wider audiences. The first release \u2013 <strong><em>Audio Voyage<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 was recorded in a single live session at the Kol HaCampus studio by the Audio Montage All-Stars, an incredible line-up of musicians: <strong>Digital Me<\/strong>, <strong>Kip<\/strong>, <strong>Maya Dunietz<\/strong>, <strong>Tavor Ben Dor<\/strong>, <strong>Yaron Ouzana<\/strong>, <strong>Sefi Ramirez<\/strong>, <strong>Kuti<\/strong>, <strong>Markey Funk<\/strong>,<strong> Schoolmaster<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Mixmonster<\/strong>. At 15:00 there will be an auction of rare records moderated by Leon Feldman, and at 17:00 the Israeli Gypsy Swing trio <strong>Swing de Gitanes<\/strong> will launch their new album <strong><em>MUZA<\/em><\/strong> with surprises and special guests.<\/p>\n<p>Performances in the Ozen Bar will start with <strong>Jack in the Box<\/strong> at 14:00; <strong>Kriminal Project<\/strong> at 15:10; <strong>Uzi Ramirez<\/strong> \u2013 one man band at 16:15; <strong>TREE<\/strong> featuring <strong>Roy Rieck<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Uzi Ramirez<\/strong> at 17:15; all building up to the <strong>Audio Montage All Stars<\/strong> launch at 19:20.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11584\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-11584\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/image001.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-11584\" title=\"image001\" src=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/image001.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/image001.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/image001-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/image001-300x300.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-11584\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Audio Montage All Stars album cover designed by Broken Fingaz<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, Israeli collectors will display their wares at the record salon in Maxim\u2019s from13:00 with rare and sought-after albums for sale, while Kol HaCampus broadcasters <strong>Yonatan Grossman<\/strong>, <strong>Tal Elefant<\/strong> and <strong>Omri Krikov<\/strong> spin records and Back-to-Back visual mesh-up <strong>Dekel Hevroni<\/strong>, <strong>Avshalom Suleiman<\/strong> and other artists will mix live images from famous albums at a special silk print stand (for a symbolic price) \u2013 so bring your old record sleeves to remix (if you\u2019re not too obsessively attached to them).<\/p>\n<p>If you like to mix your obsessions, music movies will be screened throughout the day: <strong>I Need that Record! The Death (or Possible Survival) of the Independent Record Store<\/strong> (Brendan Toller 2008) at 13:30; <strong>Scratch<\/strong> (Doug Pray 2001) at 15:30; <strong>Desperate Man Blues<\/strong> \u2013 a documentary of the life of record collector Joe Bussard (Edward Gillan 2003) at 17:30 and <strong>High Fidelity<\/strong> \u2013 music, love, obsession, Nick Hornby &amp; John Cusak, need I say more &#8211; (Stephan Frears 2000) at 18:30.<\/p>\n<p>At 21:00 the space will revert to a club (21 + only) with stainless at the Ozen Bar &#8211; <strong>Nir Goraly<\/strong>, <strong>Amit Kalisher<\/strong>, <strong>Yonatan Kutner<\/strong>, <strong>Amir Perry<\/strong> and <strong>Amir Atar<\/strong>; and at Maxim\u2019s\u00a0 &#8211;\u00a0 <strong>Eyal Rob<\/strong> (<strong>Soulico<\/strong>),<strong> Radio trip set<\/strong>, <strong>Markey Funk<\/strong>, <strong>Amir Egozi<\/strong> (<strong>Botanica<\/strong>), <strong>Turtle<\/strong> (<strong>Tabac<\/strong>) and<strong> Sefi Ramirez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>30 NIS gets you into all the nighttime events with The Third Ear record store and record salon free and open all day from 13:00.
