Eight different performances will take place in distinctive Jerusalem homes from June 22 \u2013 24, 2011. Each is different \u2013 some were originally designed for performance in a private home, others are a site-specific adaptation of an existing work. It\u2019s an opportunity to experience dance, music, theatre and storytelling in an intimate and unusual setting. The full program and dates are available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jerusalemseason.com\/event\/house-festival\" target=\"_blank\">Jerusalem Season of Culture website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In House performances will include:<br \/>\nA special adaptation of the <strong>Khan Theatre production<\/strong> of Yaakov Shabtai\u2019s play <strong>Eating<\/strong>, directed by Miki Gurevitch. A political allegory based on the Biblical story of Ahab, Jezebel and Naboth\u2019s vineyard (Kings I, 21) \u2013 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/?p=12772\" target=\"_blank\">highly recommended by Midnight East<\/a>.<br \/>\n<strong>Vertigo Dance Company <\/strong>has created a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/?p=5039\" target=\"_blank\">collage of their works<\/a> that will take place throughout the spaces of an unusual home \u2013 from the cellar to the roof.<br \/>\n<strong>The Dance Instructor<\/strong>, a pointed and entertaining performance by Yoav Bartel, created by Bartel and Abigail Rubin, winner of Kipod HaZahav 2010 prize in three categories:\u00a0 play of the year, playwright of the year, and production of the year.<br \/>\nOne performer, pianist and artist, <strong>Shaul Eshet<\/strong>, will return to his childhood home in Machane Israel to perform with the ensemble \u201cThe Secret Project.\u201d Among the performers will be <strong>Yael Deckelbaum<\/strong> and <strong>Tamar Eizenman. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Seating is limited for these performances.
