Granik&#8217;s first full length feature <em>Down to the Bone<\/em> (2004) won a Dramatic Directing Award at the Sundance Film Festival, and <em>Winter\u2019s Bone<\/em> (2010), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/?p=6071\" target=\"_blank\">screened at the 2010 Jerusalem International Film Festival<\/a>, won the Grand Jury Prize for Dramatic Film at Sundance and received four Oscar nominations.<\/p>\n<p><em>Winter\u2019s Bone<\/em> will be screened at the Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Holon Cinematheques, followed by a discussion on \u201cWomen in Film\u201d with Debra Granik. While in Israel, Granik will conduct workshops for students at the Sam Spiegel Film School in Jerusalem and Minshar in Tel Aviv, and will tour the Ma\u2019aleh Film School in Jerusalem. Granik will be meeting with outstanding high school students from all over Israel who participated in a greenhouse program for young filmmakers, and will address the group of filmmakers participating in the Tel Aviv Los Angeles partnership workshops. Granik will also travel to the West Bank to promote women in film among Palestinian filmmakers.<\/p>\n<p>Want to meet Debra Granik in person?
