Created from a fusion of cultural influences, the tango continued to develop over time, with different styles and in relationship to a variety of musical traditions. <em>Forever Tango<\/em> features 14 dancers, an onstage vocalist and an 11-piece orchestra. A member of the Argentine National Symphony, he performed with major symphonies in South America. Bravo received a special award from ACE, together with Ruben Blades, as the two most successful Latin artists on Broadway in 1998.\u00a0 In 2002 Bravo created Malambo, a panorama of Argentine music, song and dance that featured the gaucho dance tradition of malambo. A folkloric dance that originated in the 17th century among gauchos \u2013 cowboys \u2013 it was performed by men only and characterized by virtuoso footwork. While the two dances share some features in common, they represent a certain clash of cultures.
