The time in the <em>The Clock<\/em> is always synchronized with local time, if you are watching at 12:00; it will also be noon onscreen. But what happens at midnight?<\/p>\n<p>The museum is usually closed at night, which means that much of this 24 hour work of video art is hidden from view. To give visitors the opportunity to see the full work, the Israel Museum will have two 24 hour screenings of <em>The Clock<\/em> on September 13th and October 18th. During regular museum opening hours, regular admission charges will apply. After hours, when the rest of the museum is closed (Tuesday after 21:00 through Wednesday at 10:00) admission will be FREE!<\/p>\n<p>Screening hours will be:<br \/>\nSeptember 13 from 16:00 \u2013 September 14 at 16:00<br \/>\nOctober 18 from 10:00 \u2013 October 19 at 10:00<\/p>\n<p><em>The Clock<\/em> won the Golden Lion award at the 2011Venice Biennale, where it was featured in the central exhibition. The Israel Museum\u2019s presentation of <em>The Clock<\/em> is curated by Suzanne Landau, Yulla and Jacques Lipchitz Chief Curator of the Fine Arts and Landeau Family Curator of Contemporary Art.
