Take a trip through time with Boydem, a cool artistic project initiated by Yehezkel Lazarov and Bikurey HaItim Director Sigal Peretz that will present the early works created by leading Israeli artists in dance, film, photography, visual arts, video-art and theatre. Boydem (Yiddish for attic) will take place at the Bikurey HaItim Center in Tel Aviv from October 16 \u2013 18, 2011 with three evenings of art events \u2013 FREE and open to the public.<\/p>\n

The participating artists open up their creative boydem (Yiddish for attic) to reveal those first works, some never before presented, some only seen by a small audience of friends and family. This new exposure offers an opportunity for dialogue between the past and present, a way of looking at the creative process with the perspective gained over time.<\/p>\n

Among the participants: Ari Fullman, Barak Marshall, Michal Rovner, Renen Schorr, Gadi Dagon, Vardi Kahana, Yehoshua Sobol, Maya Gold, David Wakstein, Mosh Kashi, Inbal Pinto, Edna Mazya, Nir Bergman, Gaston Zvi Ickowicz, Sharon Bareket, Hillil Mittelpunkt, Anisa Ashkar, Rena Sheinfeld, Liat Dror and Nir Ben Gal, Anat Gov, Dina Zvi Riklis, Yankale Yakobson, Zik Group, and Clipa Theatre, with the following actors reprising theatre scenes: Orly Zilbershatz, Arie Moscona, Israel Gurion, Sandra Sadeh, Gdaliah Besser, and Liora Rivlin. Yehezkel Lazarov and Noa Mark Ofer are the artistic directors, and the festival is produced by Gabriela Vilnetz. Following the Boydem Festival at Bikurey HaItim there will be a symposium at Tel Aviv University discussing the festival and the works presented.<\/p>\n
