He then went on to dance at N\u00fcremberg Dance Theatre and Cloud Gate Dance Theatre, working with choreographers such as Stijn Celis, Hui Horta, Russel Maliphant, Lin Huwai-Min, Jo Stromgren and Daniela Kurz. His choreographies were presented at the N\u00fcremberg Dance Centre, Sascha Walktz &amp; Guests, Cloud Gate Center Theater and TEatro Balleto di Torino. In 2008 he received first prize in the 12<sup>th<\/sup> International Solo Tanz Festival in Stuttgart.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The works to be performed here are N\u00fcwa and Dialogue II, described as: \u201ca dance duet with live music by composer Pei-Yu Shi.\u201d The music will be performed by pianist Andreas Kern.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Untitled-11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1871\" title=\"Untitled-1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Untitled-11-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"Untitled-1\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Untitled-11-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/Untitled-11.jpg 847w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>N\u00fcwa is the Goddess of Life in Chinese mythology, representing the female and the male aspects of humanity. The choreography deals with unisex identity and its influence on the body language, as well as with N\u00fcwa\u2019s mythical power over birth, death, destruction and reconstruction.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dialogue II is inspired by \u201c4.48\u201d psychosis\u201d \u2013 a play written by Sara Kane in 1999, one year prior to her suicide.
