Ben Lang, recent immigrant to Israel from New York, who came up with Hummus Day (May 15, 2012) decided that the deep fried street food deserves recognition as well. But <a href=\"http:\/\/falafelday.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Falafel Day<\/a> is not just about food, it\u2019s about people. Ben hopes that Falafel Day will \u201cconnect people over a food that we all love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Falafel Day will be celebrated on June 12, 2012. How can you take part in the festivities?
