The reenactment will include the original choreography, which relies heavily on repeated movements that create a symbolic framework, alongside Sheinfeld and Laor’s renewed vision which speaks from the vantage point of a different time and artistic sensibility.
Dance works are rarely revived on the Israeli stage, and this is an excellent opportunity to see the work and its relationship to the movement language of Sheinfeld and Laor. Dror and Ben Gal granted the choreographers permission to reenact and alter the work, and this will be reflected not only in the movement, but in the soundtrack.

The Best of A-Genre – a selection of works by Ari Teperberg & Anna Wild, Naama Shendar, Rafi & Roy Balbirsky, and Lee Lurian on October 17th at 19:00; October 18th at 19:00.

The Best of Intimadance – a selection of works by Yuval Goldstein, Olivia Court-Mesa, Gabriel Newhouse, Dana Ruttenberg and Maya Yogel on October 23 at 21:00, October 24 at 21:00.

Tmuna Theatre, 8 Soncino Street, Tel Aviv. 03-5629462.

Tmuna Theatre’s October festival begins today with ten days of performances, and admission is only 30 NIS!
