Calling all documentary filmmakers! DocAviv, the international documentary film festival, is currently accepting submissions. This year\u2019s festival, celebrating it\u2019s 12th year, will be held from May 6 \u2013 15, 2010. Submissions for the Israeli competition will be accepted until January 15, 2010.<\/p>\n
Film can compete in four categories: Israeli competition, International competition, Student films (submission through the university departments) and a Youth competition which will be conducted through high school film departments.<\/p>\n
In the Israeli competition prizes will be awarded for: Best film, Tel Aviv Mayor\u2019s prize for most promising young filmmaker, Cinematography, Editing and Honorable Mentions.
