One day when he returns from work he finds a demolition notice on the door. Kamel understands that the fate of the village depends on him and decides to stage a terror attack at the Central Bus Station in order to attract media attention to his plight.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23345\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23345\" style=\"width: 584px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/igor.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23345\" title=\"igor\" src=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/igor.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/igor.jpg 584w, https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/igor-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23345\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Igor and the Crane&#8217;s Journey<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Younger audiences can enjoy <em>Igor and the Crane&#8217;s Journey<\/em>, directed by Evgeny Ruman, telling the story of a boy&#8217;s immigration with his divorced mother, from Russia to Israel, and his troubled relationship with his ornithologist father.\u00a0 <em>Moon Man<\/em>, directed and written by Stephan Schesch, based on the book by Tomi Ungerer, takes Mr. Moon himself on a journey to earth, with a great soundtrack that includes Louis Armstrong, Iron Butterfly, Duke Ellington, Neu and Ella Fitzgerald.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23346\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23346\" style=\"width: 584px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/moon-man.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23346\" title=\"moon man\" src=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/moon-man.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"328\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/moon-man.jpg 584w, https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/moon-man-300x168.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23346\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Moon Man<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The two Israeli films, <em>Sharqiya<\/em> and <em>Igor and the Crane&#8217;s Journey<\/em>, will be screened in the presence of the directors, who will meet and talk with the audience.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_23340\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-23340\" style=\"width: 584px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/the-hunt.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-23340\" title=\"the hunt\" src=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/the-hunt.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"584\" height=\"389\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/the-hunt.jpg 584w, https:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/the-hunt-300x199.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 584px) 100vw, 584px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-23340\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Hunt<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><em>The Hunt<\/em>, Thomas Vinterberg&#8217;s (Festen) latest film, will open the festival on Thursday, December 6th at 20:00.
