The band&#8217;s current members are: Joey Burns \u2013 vocals, guitars, bass, cello, piano, keyboards, accordion, percussion, vibraphone; John Convertino \u2013 drums, percussion, piano, vibraphone; Paul Niehaus \u2013 steel guitar, guitars; Jacob Valenzuela \u2013 trumpet, keyboards, vibraphone, vocals; Martin Wenk \u2013 trumpet, guitar, keyboards, accordion, glockenspiel, vibraphone (occasionally harmonica &amp; French horn); Volker Zander \u2013 standup bass, electric bass.<\/p>\n<p>The unique Southwestern indie-sound of Calexico merges country, Latin, jazz and rock influences.
