Get in step with contemporary dance as the Suzanne Dellal Centre announces the return of Tel Aviv Dance<\/strong> from May 1 – 31, 2013. The month long celebration will feature three stages: International, Israeli Dance Companies and Independent Choreographers. The Suzanne Dellal Centre will premiere a new production, an evening of works by emerging Israeli choreographers: Kadam by Tzvika Ezekias<\/strong> and Shiri Capuano Quantz<\/strong>; Mashroom Z by Nadav Tzelner<\/strong>; and “Hi Meta BaSof” (She Dies in the End) by Idan Porges<\/strong>, with performances on May 16 & 17th, 2013. Tel Aviv Dance is produced by the Suzanne Dellal Centre with the support of the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, and is sponsored by Yafora.<\/p>\n

Emio Greco (Holland): Passione in Due<\/strong><\/p>\n

Choreographer Emio Greco returns to Suzanne Dellal after a 14 year absence with Passione in Due<\/em>, a duet for dancer and piano, between Greco and French composer Franck Krawczyk performing his transcription of Bach\u2019s Passion according to Saint Matthew . Emmanuel Gat: The Goldlandbergs<\/strong><\/p>\n

The story of a family told through the intricate relations of its characters, with a montage soundtrack composed of: “The Quiet in the Land”, a radio documentary created by Glenn Gould in 1977, and excerpts from Bach’s “Goldberg Variations” as performed by Gould. From Emmanuel Gat’s website: “The Goldlandbergs<\/em>” exploits the contrapuntal essence of choreography, in order to generate numerous possibilities allowing both performers and audience the freedom of artistic choice and interpretation.” Read more here<\/a>.
