Jazz vocalist Angela Hagenbach and pianist\/composer Tamir Hendelman will be performing Days of Wine and Roses in the Hot Jazz series, with performances from April 27 – May 7, 2013 at the Rehovot Conservatory, Gerard Behar Center in Jerusalem, Zappa Herzliya, Einan Hall Modi’in, Tel Aviv Museum of Art and Beit Aba Hushi in Haifa.<\/p>\n

The two musicians connected six years ago when Tamir Hendelman played on Angela Hagenbach’s album They Way They Make Me Feel, a tribute to Johnny Mandel, Henry Mancini and Michel Legrand. They have enjoyed a musical collaboration ever since, and will be performing together onstage in Israel for the first time, performing with them will be Shai Zelman on drums and Dor Samocha on bass – what an ensemble!<\/p>\n

Hendelman is much in demand as a jazz pianist and has performed extensively with many ensembles, and has recorded two albums: Playground<\/em> with John Clayton on bass and Jeff Hamilton on drums, and Destinations<\/em>, with Marco Panascia on bass and Lewis Nash on drums. An album of jazz arrangements of composers from Ravel to Lerner and Lowe, Destinations<\/em> also includes Hendelman’s composition Israeli Waltz:
