For its next “Virtuosi at the Camerit” concert, The Israel Chamber Orchestra is bringing together a promising Israeli violinist, Kinneret Sieradzki, and Chilean conductor Maximiano Vald\u00e9s to perform a program of four beloved works by some favorite composers.<\/p>\n

Kinneret Sieradzki<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Kinneret Sieradzki<\/a> must have been born to be a violinist, as her name indicates \u2013 “kinneret” come from the word “kinor”, which means violin. Born in Israel in 1983, she is a graduate of Thelma Yellin School for the Arts and the Israeli Conservatory, and continued her studies at the Maastricht Academy of Music. She’s recorded with the Israel Philharmonic and performed with all of major orchestras in Israel and abroad, and divides her time between teaching and performing.<\/p>\n

Taking up the baton is Maximiano Vald\u00e9s, Music Director of the Puerto Rico Symphony and the Artistic Director of the Casals Festival. He is the former music director of the Orquesta Sinfonica del Principado de Asturias in Spain. In 2011, with the Asturias Symphony, he performed before the Pope.<\/p>\n

With the Israel Chamber Orchestra, the two will perform a truly delightful program:
\nBeethoven \u2013 Coriolan Overture
\nProkofiev \u2013 Violin Concerto No. 2 in G minor, Op. 63
\nGrieg \u2013 Two Nordic Melodies, Op. 63
\nSymphony No. 2 in B flat major, D. 125<\/p>\n

The concert will take place at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Monday March 24 and Tuesday March 25 at 20:30. An introductory lecture by Anat Sharon (in Hebrew) will begin at 19:30 in the concert hall.
