Something wonderful happens when people come together to make music. They listen to one another. Those are the transcendent moments in a concert, when everybody in the room becomes an instrument of the music, singing, playing, dancing, the music reverberating within and all around. This is what happens when Shai Tsabari sings.<\/p>\n

It’s not just that they are that good, so good, so very good – and they are! This is such an amazing ensemble of musicians, any superlative you throw at them hits the mark. But when they come together, their rapport onstage and their connection with the audience, the collective power of all that close listening – listening with the body, mind and spirit – it’s transcendent.<\/p>\n

Shaharit<\/a>, Shai Tsabari’s debut album, takes its name from Jewish tradition, it is the morning prayer. This is a singer who knows where he’s coming from, and who has the vision and talent to let the music take him everywhere. There’s a reason this man sings with his hand on his heart, with his arms open wide and welcoming all. Shai Tsabari is a messenger of song, every place he sings becomes a Jewish temple of groove, where everyone is singing, clapping, dancing.<\/p>\n

Shai Tsabari and the Middle East Groove All Stars will be performing this Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at The Zone in Tel Aviv. These powerful musicians are: Assaf Talmudi – keyboards and musical production; Eyal Talmudi – saxophone and clarinet; Beno Hendler – bass; Gershon Weiserfirer – electric oud and trombone; Nir Manzour – drums and electric percussion.Doors open at 21:00, show begins around 22:00.
