Take a vacation! That&#8217;s what I&#8217;ll be doing this August, at least part of the time: disconnecting from my computer, cell phone, and all other digital accessories, pulling on my hiking boots and heading for the mountains with my backpack on my back for fresh air and a fresh perspective. Vacations are the best, but if you are not going away this summer, there are so many ways to enjoy a mini-vacation right here! The words I know just don\u2019t seem to cover the range and depth of all she is and does. An amazing guitarist who has been playing since the age of six, Eisenman writes songs that move in every way. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/vertigodance?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\">Vertigo Dance Company<\/a> will be performing <em>Reshimo<\/em> on August 18th &amp; 19th at the Suzanne Dellal Centre.<\/p>\n<p><em>Vertigo Dance Company\u2019s Reshimo, choreographed by Noa Wertheim, resonates with a feeling of continuity, a feeling, a movement or action repeated, recurring in time, leaving an invisible, yet palpable trace. Reshimo is like water from the source, flowing transparent, reflecting the sky above and revealing the rocks below. The August 15th launch concert sold out so quickly that the band has added a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/404028293123354\/\" target=\"_blank\">concert on August 13th! Levontin 7 at 21:30<\/a>.<br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jfpk2HdxlSw\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>5. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/LucilleCrew?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Lucille<\/strong><\/a>, one of my favorite bands, will be launching their second album at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1595262527395289\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Barby on August 15th!<\/a><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/7KqfLHg2qi0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>6. The lovely <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/MayaJohannaMusic?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Maya Johanna<\/strong><\/a> will launch her debut album at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/405460352971967\/\" target=\"_blank\">The Zone August 22!<\/a><br \/>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4HpfC_bVCo0\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n7. Free Fun! Yes, don&#8217;t forget to enjoy all the free pleasures of wherever you are!<\/p>\n<p>Jaffa Nights the one and only <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/ShaiTsabariOfficial?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Shai Tsabari<\/strong> <\/a>will be performing at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1429495957380713\/\" target=\"_blank\">Gan Hapisga in Jaffa on August 22nd! <\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Bat Yam Street Theatre Festival<\/strong> will take place August 26, 27 &amp; 29 &#8211; admission FREE!!! Check the <a href=\"http:\/\/batyamfest.co.il\/#shows\" target=\"_blank\">festival website <\/a>for events, location &amp; times.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/tamuseum?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>The Tel Aviv Museum of Art<\/strong><\/a> will open its doors on Thursday nights in August from 21:00 &#8211; 24:00 with music, lectures, tours&#8230; admission FREE!<\/p>\n<p>8. <strong>The Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival<\/strong> will take place from August 30th &#8211; September 4th, as part of the Jerusalem Season of Culture, with some truly unique productions. It\u2019s a beautiful film \u2013 a luminous, poetic evocation of a young woman coming into her own. How wonderful to have Pixar confirm my innermost thoughts! Port of Tel Aviv &#8211; Rock &amp; Port with some great free outdoor concerts in August, including Monica Sex &amp; HaDab Nachash, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.midnighteast.com\/mag\/?p=32006\" target=\"_blank\">concert dates here <\/a>; water show still going strong Sunday thru Thursday, until August 13th from 18:45 &#8211; 22.15. While you&#8217;re there, you can treat yourself to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/1126793364004590\/\" target=\"_blank\">custom designed Magnum ice cream bar<\/a>, not free, but very indulgent and delicious!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
