Winter Blues? YES! It’s dark and stormy all around, winter is here, and while it may not rain for 40 days, the Tel Aviv Blues Festival<\/strong><\/a> is back in an acoustic winter edition with 40 shows! Just launched this past July, the overwhelming response (6,000 people) proves our love so Kvish 61 (Route 61) an NPO founded to promote the blues in Israel, and Nobody’s Fault Productions have put together an amazing lineup of international and Israeli blues musicians for a four day festival from December 2 – 5, 2015.<\/p>\n

Loving the blues is what it’s all about, so many of the shows are free admission! Mark your calendars and start getting into the rhythm!<\/p>\n

Opening the festival will be Jerron ‘Blind Boy’ Paxton<\/strong><\/a> – There is an old soul singing in the music of this young multi-instrumentalist who hails from Mississippi! Singing and playing banjo, guitar, piano, fiddle, harmonica, Cajun accordion, this very young (born in 1989) Jewish African-American bluesman is influenced by the sounds of the 20s and 30s. If you missed his first visit to Israel, here’s your chance!<\/p>\n
