Wallflower<\/em> by Inbal Pinto and Avshalom Pollak \u2013 one of my favorites, is returning for several performances to the Tel Aviv Museum of Art. New addition: artist Michal Chelbin’s video Raw Iron, inspired by Wallflower and created in collaboration with the Inbal Pinto Avshalom Pollak Dance Company, will be on view before and after performances. The adventurous viewer may want to check out Broken Telephone<\/em>, an interdisciplinary performance that takes the childhood game and puts it onstage, with an impressive cohort of 20 creative artists from different fields. Each performer will only have access to the “whisper” just before his\/her own, and each “whisper” will last about five minutes, for a total of an hour long, experimental variety show with theatre, music, spoken word and dance. The dancers will be: Artur Astman, Tankuri Kwaharda, and Saar Magal with the dancers of Bikurei HaItim. The performance will take place at Tzavta, on February 10th<\/sup> with two shows, at 19:30 and 21:30.\u00a0 To order tickets call: 03-6950156\/7. On Saturday, February 13th<\/sup> there will be an evening of three duets in Studio A at the Suzanne Dellal Centre at 21:00. Women of the World<\/em> by Doron Raz, performed by Moran Zilberberg and Doron Raz; Storks<\/em> by Moran Zilberberg, performed by Ofir Yudilevich and Moran Zilberberg; Gravitas<\/em> by Ofir Yudilevich, performed by Asher Ben Shalom and Ofir Yudilevich. While I haven’t seen these works, I’ve enjoyed watching all these choreographers\/dancers in the past, and have come to expect good things from them, sensitive and inventive. Fragments<\/em> by choreographer Yael Orni, was created in collaboration with the sculptor Ofra Fridman, as part of the “Quarter to Dance” project of the Israeli Choreographers Association. Each program features four choreographers, the performance will take place on Tuesday, February 23rd<\/sup> at 20:30 in Warehouse 2, Jaffa Port. Fragments makes surreal use of sculpted body parts taken out of their ordinary functionality into a world of associations to music by Bach and Duke Ellington. The Batsheva Dance Company will present Shalosh<\/em> in a new revision to the 2005 piece. Performances will take place on February 25th<\/sup> at 21:00 and February 26th<\/sup> at 14:00 at the Suzanne Dellal Centre. Shalosh is composed of three works: Bellus, Humus, and Secus. Bellus is a work for 5 male and 5 female dancers, to J. S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations, in Glenn Gould’s unique performance. Humus is a work for nine dancers to Brian Eno’s Neroli. Secus is a work for 16 dancers with a lively and diverse sound track. Batsheva dancers move like no others, it’s something you really want to experience. Dancer and choreographer Rina Schenfeld, one of the founding members and principal dancer of the Batsheva Dance Company from 1964 to\u00a01978 when she left to found her own company Rina Schenfeld Dance Theater. Known for her incorporation of objects and theatrical elements in dance, Schenfeld will be premiering a new work “The Dancer Who Forgot a Step”<\/em> inspired by the poetry of theatre director Yossi Yizraeli. Over the years, Schedfeld had received 12 books of original poetry from Yizraeli, from these she selected verses that felt meaningful to her, especially those referring to dance. The solo dance is structured as a story in parts, and is accompanied by a video created by Admit and Rina Schenfeld. The dance will be performed by Rina Schenfeld to music by Alexander B\u0103l\u0103nescu, with Kobi Medan and Schenfeld reading the texts. The texts are in Hebrew. The evening’s program will also include the premiere of Pizzicato by Rina Schenfeld, to music by Alexander B\u0103l\u0103nescu, performed by her company. Performances will take place at the Suzanne Dellal Centre: Monday, March 13th<\/sup> at 21:00; Saturday, May 28th<\/sup> at 21:00; Thursday, June 2nd<\/sup> at 21:00.
