The Israel Theatre Prizes for 2009 <\/a>were announced today, Friday May 14, 2010, in a ceremony which took place at the Gesher Theatre in Jaffa. Joshua Sobol received a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to Israeli theatre as prolific playwright and director.<\/p>\n

Prizes were awarded in the following categories:<\/p>\n

The American Princess, Khan Theatre<\/strong><\/p>\n

Best Comedy<\/p>\n

Les Fourberies de Scapin, Khan Theatre
