It&#8217;s an excellent opportunity to hear a truly legendary musician performing live! Considered to be the first Latin musician to crossover into the English language music mainstream, Feliciano&#8217;s music has a distinctive sound that reflects the different influences in his music: Latin, folk, rock and jazz. Born blind due to congenital glaucoma, music was part of his life from an early age, teaching himself to play the concertina at age six, before switching to the guitar at age nine. Quitting school at age 17 to help his family, he began playing at small clubs, for a &#8220;pass the hat&#8221; salary. Signed to RCA following successful gigs at Gerde&#8217;s Folk City in the Village, his big break came after recording an album of his arrangements of Spanish songs, infused with blues and folk\/rock influences. Feliciano&#8217;s collaborations with other musicians include Frank Sinatra, Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Gloria Estefan, Johnny Cash, Paul Simon and many more. He has been a guest performer on several albums, including Bill Wither&#8217;s &#8216;Justments, John Lennon&#8217;s Rock&#8217;n&#8217;Roll, and Joni Mitchell&#8217;s Court and Spark. His many awards and accolades include: forty-five Gold and Platinum records; nine Grammy Awards; nineteen Grammy nominations, a star on Hollywood&#8217;s Walk of Fame; and Billboard Magazine\u2019s \u201cLifetime Achievement Award.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>My favorite Feliciano song is <em>Rain<\/em>:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/AUDPWiv28MI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Tickets will go on sale Tuesday, July 9, 2019.
