Under the musical direction of Guy Mintus and directed by Shirit Lee Weiss, the evening features performances by opera soloists Tal Ganor, Goni Knaani, Daniel Skorka, Anat Czarny and musicians Oren Hardy (bass) and Yonatan Rosen (drums).<\/p>\n<p>Mintus selected several of the most famous operatic arias and arranged them with a jazz twist. Among the arias to be performed are Pamina\u2019s aria from The Magic Flute, Cherubino\u2019s aria from The Marriage of Figaro, Rosina\u2019s aria from The Barber of Seville, Musetta\u2019s aria from La Boh\u00e8me, the Seguidilla from Bizet\u2019s Carmen, Dido\u2019s parting aria from Dido and Aeneas, and an all-women\u2019s jazz version of the sexist aria La Donna \u00e8 Mobile from Verdi\u2019s Rigoletto.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/rBIJ5ekidRM\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nThe performance will take place on Monday, September 5<sup>th<\/sup> at 20:00.
