Bringing the beauty and intimacy of chamber music into an international dialogue, the Israeli Chamber Project<\/a> (ICP) travels off the familiar concert track, reaching out to new audiences and performing the works of new composers. Returning to Israel with a program that includes works by Bohuslav Martinu, Yinam Leef, Aharon Copland and Brahms, the talented ensemble will perform throughout Israel from December 24 \u2013 January 3, 2010, as well as conducting master classes.<\/p>\n

This adventurous ensemble of musicians is based in Tel Aviv and New York, creating a musical dialogue that spans continents and generations. Their repertoire includes rarely performed pieces alongside well known chamber works. The ensemble always includes a work by an Israeli composer in every concert, often commissioning new works from young Israeli composers; presenting Israeli music to audiences worldwide.<\/p>\n

The program for the December 24, 2010 \u2013 January 1, 2011 concerts will include:
\nMartinu Three Madrigals for Violin and Viola
\nYinam Leef Triptych for Clarinet, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Piano
\nCopland Sextet for Clarinet, Piano, and String Quartet
\nBrahms Clarinet Quintet in B minor, Op. 115<\/p>\n

On January 3, 2011, the ICP will perform a special concert at the Felicja Blumental Music Centre in Tel Aviv, \u201cSolos and Duos,\u201d a more intimate program that includes Brahms\u2019 Violin Sonata in A major, Prokofiev\u2019s Romeo and Juliet for Viola and Piano,\u00a0 and solo selections for clarinet and cello from Israeli composers yet to be announced.<\/p>\n

The current ICP tour includes: Daniel Bard \u2013 violin, Itamar Zorman \u2013 violin, Guy Ben-Ziony \u2013 viola, Michael Korman \u2013 cello, Tibi Cziger \u2013 clarinet, Assaff Weisman \u2013 piano.
