The U.S. Embassy in Tel Aviv presents the all female New York-based pop/rock band Antigone Rising who will be performing in Israel February 21 – 23, 2012. The band is coming to Israel and the West Bank as Art Envoys, an initiative sponsored by the U.S. State Department.
On their Israeli tour the band members will also give talks on the origins of American rock and share tips from their musical careers. Performances, workshops and talks will take place in Beer Sheva, Kadima-Tzoran, Jerusalem and Tel Aviv. Shows open to the public:
February 21 at 10:00 p.m. – Beit Massia, Jerusalem
February 22 at 7:30 p.m. – Heichal Ha-Tarbut Kadima- Zoran
February 23 at 8:00 p.m. – Rothschild 12, Tel Aviv
