Nissan Nativ Acting Studio will present “A New Generation in Theatre” – a festival of plays performed by 3rd year students at Tzavta from July 19 – 27, 2012. This year’s program includes two original productions. “Cupidon Ayef” (Tired Cupid) by Elinor Agam Ben David and Kinneret Peled with the 3rd year Nissan Nativ students will open the festival on July 19th, and the children’s play “Mamtakiya Ben HeHarim” (A Candy Factory in the Mountains) a co-production with Psik Theatre, will close the festival on July 27th.

Cupidon Ayef by Elinor Agam Ben David and Kinneret Peled  with Nissan Nativ 3rd year students – July 19th at 21:00; July 20th at 14:00
A musical based on the songs of George Brassens, directed by Elinor Agam Ben David.

The Madwoman of Chaillot by Jean Giraudoux – July 22nd at 21:00; July 23rd at 21:00.
A crazy satire about a greedy plan to dig up Paris to search for oil, adapted and directed by Yagil Eliraz.

The Chioggia Scuffles by Carlo Goldoni – July 24th at 21:00; July 25th at 21:00.
A classic comedy of love and strife directed by Misha Lurie.

A surreal dream of setting up a circus on the sands of Tel Aviv in the 1920s, directed by Ofer Amram, with original music by Yuval Messner.

Mamtakiya Ben HeHarim by Shmuel Hadges – July 27th at 14:00
A play without words about the accidental invention of candy, directed by Lior Sagi.
