In a meeting of two Israeli classical music powerhouses, the Israeli Vocal Ensemble will be joined by the Israel Symphony Orchestra Rishon LeZion in a concert of religious music – some of the best-loved and most exciting works of Handel, Mozart and Mendelssohn.

Conducted by its founder, Yuval Benozer, the Israeli Vocal Ensemble is a leader in the Israeli music scene, performing classical favorites such as these but also giving voice to newer contemporary works.

Under the baton of Maestro Benozer will be soon-to-be-world-famous countertenor Alon Harari, soprani Talia Dishon and Daniela Skorka, and bass Yoel Sivan.

On the program:
Mendelssohn – Motet Opus 78 no. 2 “Richte mich Gott”
Mozart – Vesperae solennes de confessore (K.339)
Handel – Dixit Dominus (HWV 232)
