Brodt Center for Jewish Culture: Remember 2016

The Brodt Center for Jewish Culture will host Remember –  Israeli artists and intellectuals in an evening of remembrance in a different, informal atmosphere, on Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at 21:00. Admission is free, based on space available. The evening’s program will also be broadcast on an outdoor screen, with chairs provided for viewers.

On the eve of Holocaust Remembrance Day, the Brodt Center will host what has become a decade-long tradition, an evening of speakers from different fields and performing artists, sharing their thoughts and feelings on the memory of the Holocaust. The evening is not led by a host or moderator.

The evening’s participants include:

Musician Amir Banyon; cellist Maya Belzitsman and drummer Matan Efrat; Dr. Shimon Azulai; historian Gideon Greif; poetry slam artist Tzvia Margaliot; Rabbi and psychologist Ilai Ofran; musician Amir Lev; Holocaust survivor and Israel Prize recipient Prof. David Halivni; Shosh Traiser will share childhood memories from the Holocaust; actor Hadas Kalderon.

Brodt Center for Jewish Culture, 22 Zeitlin Street, Tel Aviv. The event will begin at 21:00, admission is based on space available. It is not possible to reserve places in advance. The evening will be broadcast to the Center’s outdoor plaza, and some chairs will be provided outdoors.
