“Ash Layla”: Visual Art Project in Jaffa

An unusual exhibition of contemporary art in alternative outdoor spaces throughout the Old City of Jaffa will accompany the Theatronetto Festival that opens on April 9, 2012. Curated by Gilat Nadivi (Florentine 45) and Dana Gilerman, with associate curator Vera Pilpoul, the exhibition will feature the works of over 20 contemporary Israeli artists.

Participating artists include: Keren Russo, Miri Segal, Nadav Weisman, Dror Karta, Shahar Marcus, Daniel Landau, Liav Mizrahi and many more. Installations, video art, sculptures and paintings will be exhibited in gallery windows, hidden corners and alleys, on rooftops and other unexpected places, every evening from 18:00 – 22:30, Monday, April 9th – Wednesday, April 11th.
