David Morris Solo Exhibit at Shalom Tower

“David Morris, Sculptor” a new exhibition at the Shalom Tower Gallery curated by David Sharir, will open on Friday, June 15, 2012 at 11:30. The exhibition will include ceramic sculptures created by Morris in his studio at Kibbutz Ein Hashofet over the past four decades.

David Morris was born in 1936 in Massachusetts, U.S.A. He graduated from Alfred University in 1958 and immigrated to Israel in 1962, becoming a member of Kibbutz Ein Hashofet. Morris has exhibited his work in Israel and abroad, in solo and group exhibitions in several venues, including the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art, the Tel Aviv Museum of Art, Kibbutz Cabri Gallery, the Israel Museum, the Barbican in London and the Benyamini Ceramics Center in Tel Aviv.
