In addition to the pleasure and amusement of ROBOT, which features a cast of seven humanoid Nao robots, a mechanical orchestra of self-playing instruments and eight human dancers, the audience will be invited to join Blanca Li and company dancer Iris Florentine in the foyer of the Israeli Opera for ‘Blanca Li’s Ball’ – a flash mob extravaganza .

Blanca Li, among her many talents and pursuits, has also created choreography for flash mobs, like the one she created for the finale Stella McCartney’s show at the 2016 Paris Fashion Week. The United Nations commissioned Li to create a dance for groups attending international conferences and events related to air pollution and environmental issues, Pollution is the name of the dance she choreographed. Solstice, Li’s most recent work, which premiered at the Theatre National de danse Chaillot, is also concerned with the environment, and several of the performances there were followed by ‘Blanca Li’s Ball’ – a mass dance in the lobby with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
