Prizes for the 13th Arthur Rubinstein International Piano Master Competition were announced tonight, May 26, 2011. First prize, the Arthur Rubinstein Award – Competition Gold Medal was awarded to Daniil Trifonov.

Second prize, the Moshe Mayer Prize – Competition Silver Medal was awarded to Boris Giltburg. Third prize, the Marjorie Ziff Prize – Competition Bronze Medal was awarded to Ilya Rashkovsky. Fourth Prize was awarded to Eric Zuber. Fifth prize was awarded to Alexandre Moutouzkine, and sixth prize was awarded to Kotaro Fukuma.

The prize for the Best Performer of a Classical Concerto was awarded to Boris Giltburg.

The prize for Best Performer of Chamber Music was awarded to Daniil Trifonov.

The prize for Best Performer of the Israeli Composition was awarded to Kotaro Fukuma and Marouan Benabdallah.

The Pnina Salzman Prize for the Best Performer of a Chopin piece was awarded to Daniil Trifonov.

Audience favorite was awarded to Daniil Trifonov.

Scholarship for an outstanding Israeli Competitor was awarded to Berenika Glixman.

Encouragement award to the most outstanding Israeli Competitor was awarded to Boris Giltburg.
