The Room Theater Presents a New Play on Hitler

The Room Theater will present a new play – Hitler, by Tova Rogel and Amir Orian, directed by Amir Orian with Avi Gibson Bar-el. A fictional story about the historic figure, that imagines a reality in which Hitler did not die in the bunker on April 30, 1945 in Berlin, as the accepted account of his death reports. In this drama, Hitler is an elderly man on the verge of death, his visit to Israel is the starting point of the play.

Based on writings from Hitler’s diaries and speeches, the monodrama performed by Amir Orian tells Hitler’s story from an imagined personal perspective, which the creators describe as “full of black humor, chilling and grotesque.”

Hitler will be performed at The Room Theater, 8 Harav Kook Street, Tel Aviv, on the following dates: Friday, December 9 at 14:00; Saturday, December 10 at 20:30; Friday, December 23 at 14:00; Friday, January 6 at 14:00; and Saturday, January 7 at 20:30.
