The documentary Palestine.Net, directed by Anat Tel Mendelovich, will be shown at the Jaffa Theatre on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 20:00, as part of a series of documentary screenings jointly presented by CoPro and the Jaffa Theatre. The screening will take place in the presence of the director, Anat Tel Mendelovich.

From the film description:

The new generation of young Palestinians lives on social networks and uses them to spread their ideas. Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians write posts every day on Facebook, some fight against the occupation and some talk about peace. But when the violent reality increases, extremism and madness take control of the social network as well.

Anat Tel Mendelovich has directed the documentaries Mom, Dad, I’m Muslim (2013) and I’m Not Filipina (2010). She worked as a producer on Israeli Channel 8, and holds an MFA from the Film and Television Department of Tel Aviv University.

The Jaffa Theatre was founded in 1998, and provides a stage for Arab and Hebrew culture, with two theatres working jointly and independently: The Al Saraya Theatre and the Jaffa Theatre. The theatre is located on 10 Mifrats Shlomo Promenade, Jaffa.
