The Imperial Ice Stars from London return to the stage of the Tel Aviv Opera House with Cinderella – Ballet on Ice. The vast stage of the Opera will be entirely covered with a layer of 14 tons of ice for the performances, which will begin on September 3, 2026. Cinderella will mark the company’s third visit to Israel, their last visit was with Swan Lake on Ice.
The company’s 24 stars have won over 250 medals between them and have performed on major international stages. Cinderella – Ballet on Ice was choreographed by Tony Mercer, one of the world’s leading creators of ice dance productions, who founded the Imperial Ice Stars in 2004. The production features a new interpretation of the beloved fairy tale, set to an original musical score composed by Tim A. Duncan and Edward Barnwell, as well as impressive sets designed by Eamon D’Arcy, elaborate costumes designed by Albina Gabueva, and aerial acrobatics.
