Calling all documentary filmmakers! DocAviv, the international documentary film festival, is currently accepting submissions. This year’s festival, celebrating it’s 12th year, will be held from May 6 – 15, 2010. Submissions for the Israeli competition will be accepted until January 15, 2010.
Film can compete in four categories: Israeli competition, International competition, Student films (submission through the university departments) and a Youth competition which will be conducted through high school film departments.
In the Israeli competition prizes will be awarded for: Best film, Tel Aviv Mayor’s prize for most promising young filmmaker, Cinematography, Editing and Honorable Mentions.
