Florian Holzherr – Architecture & Art Photographer Lectures at Bezalel

Bezalel Academy of Arts & Design’s Architecture Department is hosting German architect and art photographer, Florian Holzherr, for a lecture on his work on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 18:00 – “The Art of Light and Space.” The talk will take place at the Department of Architecture, 1 Bezalel Street, Jerusalem and will be open to the public, free of charge.

Florian Holzherr is an internationally acclaimed architecture and art photographer based in Munich. Holzherr is currently in Israel as part of his work on the project “Aircraft Carrier – the Israel Pavilion” at the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale in August 2012. He has worked with such architects as Peter Zumthor and SOM, and with artists such as Dan Flavin and James Turell. Holzherr’s lecture is part of the department’s lecture series on the links between photography, documentation and the built environment.
