Manofim – (Cranes), the festive launch of the exhibition season will open on Thursday, October 25th, starting at 19:00. The Jerusalem art event, now in its fifth year, will run for a  full week.  250 artists are participating, exhibiting in one of 30 locations or with  installations set up in the streets of the  city.

Among the highlights will be an exhibition of contemporary art at the Rockefeller Museum;  Safe Harbor, a group exhibition dealing with refugee issues, at Hacuba Place for Art; and ‘Anna’s Vienna” at Ticho House. The Zik Group will host a one-time event on Saturday, October at their studio in Beit Neqofa at 16:00. The focus of this event, unlike Zik’s previous installations, will be on sculptural placement of objects in a space, rather than motion.

From  9.a.m to midnight a free shuttle service will operate between the various exhibition spaces. Full program details (in English and Hebrew) at www.manofim.org
