A weekend of interdisciplinary arts performances announces the festive launch of the Ankori Studio, a junior high/high school focusing on creative thought and entrepreneurship, a collaborative initiative of Osnat Haber Koton, Ankori CEO and Yehezkel Lazarov. The arts weekend will take place February 20 – 22, at Ankori House, 3 Sirkin St. Tel Aviv, all events are open to the public and admission is free!

Weekend events will include:

Public Movement with Ankori students will conduct an event called “positions,” a choreographed demonstration with the participation of the audience, in which one’s physical position reflects identification with a philosophical position. Founded by Dana Yahalomi and Omer Krieger, Public Movement researches and stages actions in the public sphere, exploring the political and aesthetic potential of people acting together as a group.

KLONE will use a classroom as a lab for artistic experimentation, and visitors will have an opportunity to take part. Igor, the street artist known as KLONE, began drawing in the public sphere around the turn of the century. Since then, his work has not only adorned the walls of Tel Aviv, but has been commissioned for dance performances, and participated in art projects and museum exhibitions.
