The Israel Ballet will perform artistic director Berta Yampolsky’s original choreography to Tchaikovsky’s romantic Sleeping Beauty. Even for those who do not dream in pink and tulle, the stirring score will sweep you away to a world of fairy tales, as a cast of 36 dancers retells the tale of the princess under the spell of the fairy’s curse in vivid color and movement.
Performances will take place just in time for a Hannukah outing: Petach Tikvah on December 9th; Jerusalem on December 10th; Haifa on December 11th; and Tel Aviv from December 13 – 16th. Complete details in English may be found on the Israel Ballet site.
