The Menashe Forest Festival, Yearot Menashe, will take place from May 19 – 21, 2016. Three days of music in one of the most serene and beautiful places in Israel, just around the corner from Armageddon, in the hills of Menashe, roughly between Kibbutz Ein-Hashofet and Kibbutz Hazorea, in the Megiddo Regional Council.

Now in its 8th edition, the festival is a local initiative that draws a cohort of the most interesting musicians in Israel, guest international bands, and a diverse audience of all ages. Immersed in nature, embracing the arts, the festival is an emblem of cultural sustainability. Taking place in the area of Ramot Menashe, recognized by UNESCO as a “Biosphere Reserve,” festival goers experience the harmony of culture and nature in action.

Bringing the Mississippi sound to the festival is The Cedric Burnside Project . Electric blues with a funky groove, featuring Cedric Burnside – 4 time winner of Blues Music Awards Drummer of the Year, he was indeed Born With It,  and guitarist Trenton Ayers. Onstage at Yearot Menashe, they’ll be hosting Uzi Ramirez.A spontaneous moment from the last trip to Israel in May 2015 – Enjoy!
